Jeff Trotter

Executive Vice President, Phase IV Development

Jeff Trotter has enjoyed a varied career in the healthcare industry spanning the past 25 years. As an entrepreneur, researcher, consultant, and industry leader, Jeff has been a pioneer in the evolving health economics and outcomes research community. Jeff was founder and president of Ovation Research Group, one of the leading independent research and consulting organizations providing health economics and outcomes research for pharmaceutical and medical device industry clients. Ovation became known worldwide for its industry-leading perspectives on patient registries and “real world” clinical studies, fulfilling a broad continuum of needs ranging from product commercialization to safety surveillance and risk management. Having sold Ovation to a leading CRO, Jeff continued to provide strategic and operational direction to pharmaceutical and device companies. Jeff recently joined PharmaNet Development Group and will be providing leadership for the company’s Phase IV operations and its global expansion. Jeff has spoken widely in front of varied industry audiences and has published over 50 original articles and research papers, as well as a book for the American Hospital Association, The Quest for Cost-Effectiveness in Healthcare: Achieving Clinical Excellence While Controlling Cost.
